Hydroxyapatite Toothpaste
Remineralise With the Mineral Your Teeth Are Made Of
Hydroxyapatite makes up 97% of your tooth enamel. Our toothpaste puts it back where it belongs, on your teeth. Available with or without fluoride, in formulas designed for both adults and children.

What Is Hydroxyapatite and How Does It Work?
Hydroxyapatite (HAp) is a biocompatible calcium phosphate mineral. When you brush with a hydroxyapatite toothpaste, the HAp particles adhere to the tooth surface and penetrate micro-cracks in the enamel. Over time, this process helps rebuild the mineral structure of your teeth from the outside in.
Unlike fluoride, which works by forming a protective layer of fluorapatite on the tooth surface, hydroxyapatite integrates directly with your existing enamel structure. This makes it particularly effective for early-stage enamel wear, sensitivity, and daily maintenance of strong, healthy teeth.
Because hydroxyapatite is the same mineral your body already uses, it’s biocompatible and non-toxic, making it safe for children and adults alike.

Make Hydroxyapatite Part Of Your Routine
FAQs
Is hydroxyapatite as effective as fluoride?
Hydroxyapatite and fluoride work differently.
Fluoride forms a protective layer of fluorapatite on the tooth surface. Hydroxyapatite integrates directly into the enamel structure, filling micro-damage. Research supports both approaches for remineralisation, and we offer formulas with both options, as well as combined HAp + fluoride products for maximum protection.
Is hydroxyapatite toothpaste safe for children?
Yes. Hydroxyapatite is biocompatible and non-toxic. We offer a dedicated kids range in strawberry flavour, available in both fluoride and fluoride-free versions. The fluoride-free option is designed to be safe if swallowed, making it suitable from 6 months.
How long until I see results?
Most people notice reduced sensitivity within the first 2–4 weeks of regular use. Remineralisation is a gradual process, for best results, brush twice daily and allow the toothpaste to sit on your teeth briefly before rinsing.
What is the difference between nano and regular hydroxyapatite?
Nano-hydroxyapatite refers to the particle size. Smaller particles can penetrate deeper into enamel micro-damage. Our formulas use an optimised particle size to balance effectiveness with safety, in line with current EU cosmetics regulations.
Can I use hydroxyapatite toothpaste with fluoride?
Yes. Our Fresh Mint and Activated Charcoal variants combine hydroxyapatite with fluoride for a dual-action approach. If you prefer fluoride-free, our Prebiotics & Probiotics, Fennel, and Kids Strawberry options use HAp without fluoride.
