Interdental Brushes
Floss can't always reach wider gaps, that's where interdental brushes come in. Our beechwood interdental brushes with BPA-free nylon bristles remove plaque and food debris from between teeth, helping prevent gum disease and decay in the areas your toothbrush misses. Available in three sizes (0.4mm, 0.5mm, 0.6mm) to fit your spaces precisely.

FAQs
How do I know which size interdental brush to use?
The right size should slide between your teeth with gentle resistance, it should fit snugly without being forced. Georganics offers three ISO-standard sizes: 0.4mm (ISO 0) for narrow spaces, 0.5mm (ISO 2) for medium gaps, and 0.6mm (ISO 3) for wider spaces. Most people need at least two sizes, since gaps vary across the mouth. If you're unsure, start with the smallest and work up. Your dentist or hygienist can also advise on the best sizes for you.
How often should I replace my interdental brush?
Replace your brush when the bristles start to bend, splay, or lose their shape, typically after about one week of daily use. A worn brush won't clean as effectively and could irritate your gums. Each pack contains 6 brushes, which covers roughly 6 weeks of use.
Are interdental brushes better than floss?
They serve different purposes and work best together. Interdental brushes are more effective for wider spaces and are easier to handle for most people, studies show they tend to remove more plaque than floss in accessible gaps. Floss is better for very tight contact points where a brush won't fit. Ideally, use both as part of your daily routine.
Why beechwood instead of bamboo or plastic?
Beechwood is a sustainably grown European hardwood, FSC-certified, durable, and fully compostable at end of life. Unlike bamboo, it doesn't require long-distance shipping from Asia, which reduces its carbon footprint. Unlike plastic interdental brushes, it won't sit in landfill for centuries. It's a practical choice that balances quality, sustainability, and performance.
Can I use interdental brushes with braces or dental implants?
Yes, interdental brushes are actually recommended for anyone with orthodontic appliances, bridges, or implants, as these create spaces that are difficult to clean with floss alone. Choose the size that fits comfortably around your appliance. Be gentle around brackets and wires to avoid damaging them.
