How to Start Your Baby's Oral Care Routine
1. Start when the first tooth appears: usually around 6 months.
2. Use a rice-grain-sized amount of toothpaste on a soft kids toothbrush.
3. Brush gently twice a day, morning and before bed.
4. No need to rinse. The formula is safe if swallowed.
5. As they grow, increase to a pea-sized amount and begin teaching them to spit.
Make it part of the routine early, and it becomes a habit rather than a negotiation.

FAQs
When should I start brushing my baby's teeth?
As soon as the first tooth appears, usually
around 6 months. Before teeth come through, you can gently wipe gums with a clean, damp cloth. Once the first tooth erupts, start using a soft toothbrush with a rice-grain-sized amount of toothpaste.
Is it really safe if my baby swallows the toothpaste?
Yes. Our fluoride-free kids toothpaste is specifically formulated to be safe if swallowed. It contains no fluoride (which in excess can cause fluorosis in developing teeth), no SLS, no artificial sweeteners, and no synthetic preservatives. The active ingredient, micro-hydroxyapatite, is biocompatible and non-toxic.
Should I use fluoride or fluoride-free for my baby?
For babies who cannot spit reliably, many
parents and dentists prefer fluoride-free toothpaste to avoid the risk of excess fluoride ingestion. Our fluoride-free formula with hydroxyapatite provides enamel support without this concern. Discuss with your dentist if you are unsure.
How much toothpaste should I use?
For babies under 3: a rice-grain-sized smear. For children 3-6: a pea-sized amount. These amounts apply to both our fluoride and fluoride-free options.
When should I transition to the kids or adult range?
Our fluoride-free kids toothpaste is suitable
from 6 months onwards. As your child grows and can spit reliably (usually around age 3-4), you can consider switching to our fluoride kids option if you prefer, or continue with fluoride-free. The adult range is suitable from around age 7, or when recommended by your dentist.
